Finding solutions to support workers at risk of losing their jobs after the fire in Dong Nai

Deputy Director of Dong Nai City Department of Home Affairs Mai Xuan Tuan visits businesses and workers after the fire at Nhon Trach 6 Industrial Park.

On May 12, Deputy Director of Dong Nai City Department of Home Affairs Mai Xuan Tuan and the working delegation visited and worked with businesses to promptly grasp the damage situation and find solutions to support workers at risk of losing their jobs after a large fire occurred at Uniwin Vietnam Co., Ltd., located in Nhon Trach 6 Industrial Park, Phuoc An commune.

The fire occurred at noon on May 10 with an area of about 9,000m2.

According to the Department of Home Affairs of Dong Nai city, the incident caused about 1,350 workers and employees to be affected in their job positions. The enterprise will proceed to arrange jobs for workers. In case workers cannot arrange jobs, the enterprise will carry out procedures according to regulations.

Sharing difficulties with businesses and workers, Deputy Director of Dong Nai City Department of Home Affairs Mai Xuan Tuan requested the company to urgently statistically count the number of workers affected to coordinate the implementation of support policies for workers according to regulations.

At the same time, the Department of Home Affairs of Dong Nai city will support connecting with businesses in industrial parks to support introducing new jobs, helping workers soon stabilize their lives.
