The conference took place under the chairmanship of Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Secretary of the Central Youth Union; Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
At the conference, the VGCL announced the Decision on receiving civil servants and appointing leaders and managers for Mr. Tran Huu - Director of the Center for Science and Technology Development and Young Talents, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee.
According to the Decision, Mr. Tran Huu was received and appointed to hold the position of Secretary for Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; concurrently Deputy Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet highly appreciated Mr. Tran Huu's work process at the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and expressed hope that in his new position, Mr. Tran Huu will continue to promote to make more contributions, especially in the process of the two organizations coordinating activities, together aiming at the target audience that both sides are interested in, which is young workers.
Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor expressed his hope that Mr. Tran Huu will always complete all tasks well.
