In which, the grassroots trade union (CĐCS) is considered the decisive area for the vitality and effectiveness of the Trade Union organization. Not only stopping at movements or regular care activities, CĐCS must become a real support when employees encounter difficulties in work and life.
Increase the effectiveness of dialogue, care and supervision
According to Mr. Doan Thanh Binh - Chairman of Tuy Phuoc Commune Trade Union (Gia Lai), in the face of increasingly high requirements for professional qualifications, digital skills and adaptability, the Commune Trade Union accompanies workers by improving their self-learning ability and adaptability, helping them not to lag behind in the face of changes in the labor market.
The focus is implemented in 3 directions: propaganda to help workers proactively raise awareness about self-study and self-update skills; organize short-term training classes on digital skills, vocational skills and labor safety suitable for each target group; link emulation movements with technology application and technical improvement to directly support productivity improvement and adaptability in work.

Taking the trust and satisfaction of workers as a measure, Tuy Phuoc Commune Trade Union focuses on improving the quality of dialogues and negotiations at the grassroots level; practical and targeted care; strengthening inspection and supervision to protect the legitimate rights of workers.
On that basis, the grassroots trade union guides and supports the organization of employee conferences, dialogues at the workplace, implements grassroots democracy regulations and signs collective labor agreements in a direction that is more beneficial to employees.
Caring work focuses on union members in difficult circumstances, suffering from serious illnesses, occupational diseases; ensuring essential rights such as salaries, social insurance, health insurance and occupational safety and health. At the same time, strengthen inspection and supervision to promptly detect and handle violations, and protect the legitimate rights of employees.
Building a reliable support from grassroots Trade Union officials
Also according to Mr. Binh, for grassroots trade unions to truly be a reliable "support" for workers, it is necessary to build a contingent of strong, deeply involved grassroots trade union officials who promptly grasp and handle arising issues.
Trade union officials must be close, listen and accompany employees according to the motto of putting employees at the center in all activities. At the same time, grasp the thoughts and aspirations and be present in time when employees encounter difficulties and obstacles.
In addition, it is necessary to promote the effectiveness of fast information receiving channels through online groups such as Zalo, Facebook to receive, advise and promptly answer reflections from union members.
Grassroots trade unions must be substantive representatives, protecting the rights of workers in disputes over wages and working conditions; be a bridge for negotiation in the spirit of respecting the law, prioritizing the legitimate rights of workers," Mr. Binh said.
Chairman of Tuy Phuoc Commune Trade Union said that in the coming time, they will continue to proactively grasp the situation of salary and bonus payments, insurance contributions to prevent risks early and remotely, limit prolonged disputes; diversify legal advice activities, propagate labor policies, social insurance; combine to organize cultural and sports activities to build a harmonious working environment, strengthen the cohesion and trust of employees in the Trade Union organization.
