Bringing practical information to workers
Mr. Nguyen Van Hung - a worker at a seafood processing company in Suoi Dau Industrial Park (Cam Lam commune) - said that in the past, workers often encountered leaflets and advertisements for loans in factories and boarding houses.
Now these forms are appearing more and more online with invitations such as "quick disbursement", "no mortgage required", "no income proof required", "only citizen ID card required".
Before the warnings of functional agencies and propaganda from the company's Trade Union page, he and many workers used social networks to raise their vigilance.
Principles such as not accessing applications, strange links, being careful with unverified information and identifying fake content, including content created using AI technology, are reminded and sent to workers regularly.
At Innoflow NT Co., Ltd. Branch in Ninh Thuan, there are currently more than 5,000 workers. Representatives of the company's grassroots trade union (CĐCS) shared that in the context of social networks becoming increasingly popular, internal propaganda trade unions are a solution. Focusing on diverse methods, concise and easy-to-understand presentation content, associated with the actual rights of workers.
The Trade Union not only propagates through meetings but also uses notice boards, information groups of workers, and direct exchanges.
According to the grassroots trade union, one of the effective ways to mobilize is to listen to workers speak. Opinions related to salaries, labor regulations and relationships at the workplace... are received by the Trade Union, coordinated with relevant departments to verify, exchange and respond. This is also a fulcrum for workers to access official information instead of searching for information from unclear sources on social networks.
Creating a "shield" from the grassroots level
According to Mr. Bui Hoai Nam - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Labor Federation, not only black credit, fake information, and unfounded job offers can also directly affect workers' lives.
Providing official and timely information on issues of concern to workers is identified as one of the important solutions.
The Trade Union focuses on proactively providing information, promptly explaining, and mobilizing employees not to share unverified content, contributing to stabilizing ideology and labor relations.
In the first 9 months of 2026, Trade Union levels have conducted 20 inspections and supervisions; organized 695 dialogues at the workplace and provided legal advice and support to 10 cases.
Legal advice work is concerned to raise legal awareness and the ability to protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.
In the third quarter of 2026, the Provincial Labor Federation organized 2 training sessions for more than 600 turns of trade union officials at all levels. Along with improving the capacity of officials, trade union levels proactively monitor the developments of ideology, employment situation, income, life and labor relations, especially at enterprises with many workers.
Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation also promotes the application of information technology, social networks and digital platforms to bring information to union members quickly and practically. Deploying propaganda for the "Digital Education for All" movement, contributing to improving digital skills for workers.
According to leaders of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, in the digital space that is increasingly directly impacting workers' lives, the "shield" is not only in warnings about scams but also in the ability to access accurate information, understand their rights and know how to reach the Trade Union organization when support is needed.
