Handing over 2 "Houses of Compassion" houses to 2 poor women members

The Vietnam Deposit Insurance Trade Union has just awarded "Houses of Compassion" to poor households in Khanh Hoa.

The Deposit Insurance Trade Union of Vietnam (DIV) has just coordinated with the Women's Union of Nam Khanh Vinh commune, Khanh Hoa province, to organize the handover of 2 "Houses of Compassion" houses to 2 female union members from poor households in the area.

The two houses were awarded to the families of Ms. Cao Thi Thao (Gia Rang village) and Ms. Ca Thi Thuyen (Son Thai village) - both women's union members from poor households, with difficult circumstances and limited housing conditions. The project started on July 25, completed after more than 1 month of construction, with a total cost of 160 million VND, of which the DIV Trade Union supported 120 million VND.

At the handover ceremony, Mr. Ngo Quang Luong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors, Chairman of the DIV Trade Union - congratulated the families on receiving new, spacious and solid homes. At the same time, he wished that the support of the DIV Trade Union would add motivation for the families to feel secure in working, improving their lives and taking care of their children's education.

Representatives of local authorities thanked the DIV Trade Union for their concern, assessing the activities contributing to the locality's implementation of poverty reduction and ensuring social security in the area.

On this occasion, the DIV Trade Union also presented families with gifts that are essential items for daily life.
