On May 13, the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) coordinated with the Nga Nam Town Federation of Labor to organize a handover ceremony of the Trade Union Shelter to 2 union members with particularly difficult housing circumstances.
The house was given to union member Tran Thanh Truyen - Trade Union of My Binh 1 Primary School, My Binh Commune and union member Phan Van Khoi - Trade Union of Vinh Quoi Commune.

Both houses are solidly built with reinforced concrete columns, corrugated iron roofs, and reinforced concrete floors. The total cost of each apartment is over 200 million VND. Of which, the Provincial Trade Union Shelter Fund supported 50 million VND/house, the rest was contributed by the joint efforts of brothers and relatives, helping the houses to be more spacious.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Van Phai - Vice Chairman of the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor said that the handover of the Trade Union Shelter is an activity of profound humanistic significance, demonstrating the concern and practical care of the Trade Union organization for the lives of workers, civil servants, and laborers, especially union members facing housing difficulties. Thereby, promptly encouraging workers to improve their lives, work with peace of mind and complete assigned tasks well.
