In the afternoon of June 11, the working delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation visited, encouraged and presented gifts to union members and workers at some businesses in Tay Nam ward and Bau Bang commune.
The working delegation was headed by Mr. Dang Tan Dat - Member of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, Head of Working Group No. 9 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, along with leaders of localities, commune and ward trade unions.
The delegation visited and worked at Johnson Cabinets Co., Ltd., Hang Nguyen Trading Production Co., Ltd. (both in Bau Bang commune, Ho Chi Minh City); Victory Pet and Garment Co., Ltd. and Chan Kiet Joint Stock Company (both in Tay Nam ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
At the destinations, the delegation visited and inquired about the employment situation, living standards, and income of union members and workers; at the same time, encouraged workers to continue to strive for labor production, promote the spirit of creativity, and contribute to improving labor productivity and operational efficiency of enterprises.
At each business, the delegation presented 10 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances (each gift included 1,000,000 VND in cash and in-kind gifts worth 500,000 VND).
Mr. Dang Tan Dat - Member of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, Head of Working Group No. 9 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation said that the gifts from the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress handed over to union members and workers not only have material value but also show the concern and care of the Trade Union organization for workers, especially those in difficult circumstances.
The activity contributes to spreading the spirit of sharing, consolidating the trust of union members and workers in the Trade Union organization. At the same time, it creates motivation for workers to feel secure in their work and be attached to the business for a long time.
