On June 11, a delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation led by Ms. Mai Thanh Thao - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation, along with Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong - Chairwoman of Thuan Giao Ward Trade Union, visited and presented gifts to workers in difficult circumstances in the ward.
The delegation visited and worked at Lee & Suy Vina Co., Ltd. and Samil Tong Sang Vina Co., Ltd. (both in Thuan Giao ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
At each business, the delegation presented 10 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, who suffered from labor accidents, and serious illnesses (each gift included 1,000,000 VND in cash and items worth 500,000 VND).
In addition, the delegation also presented gifts to businesses to express gratitude for the company's companionship in caring for workers. The gifts are deducted from the Trade Union's financial resources, showing the concern, sharing and responsibility of the Trade Union organization for the lives of workers.
The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation said that this is a practical activity to celebrate the success of the 14th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, term 2026-2031. At the same time, it contributes to encouraging morale and helping workers to move forward more steadily in work and life.
