These days, the production atmosphere at TKG Teakwang Can Tho Co., Ltd. has become bustling again. As the enterprise with the largest workforce in Can Tho with more than 17,000 employees, the unit recorded the number of employees returning to work after the Tet holiday reaching nearly 100%.
Speaking with Lao Dong, Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Thoang - Chairman of the Trade Union of TKG Teakwang Can Tho Company Limited - informed that on the first day back to work after Tet, the company gave lucky money to all employees by bank transfer with a total amount of over 1 billion VND.
In order to express gratitude and encourage employees, the Company and the Executive Board of the Trade Union of the unit coordinated with Song Hong Tan Company Limited to organize the program Special Meal and "Spring Reunion, Bringing Good Luck in 2025". From there, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere in the first working days of the year for employees.
“The program “Spring Reunion, Bringing Good Luck 2025” has 146 prizes with a total value of over 100 million VND. This is the encouragement of the company and the Trade Union for employees. Meanwhile, the meals at the Special Meal are increased in value and portion compared to the daily shift meals, helping employees have adequate nutrition, ensuring health to work effectively, contributing to improving labor productivity and accompanying the development of the company” - Ms. Thoang said.
As the lucky winner of the highest prize at the program, Ms. Phan Thi Nhien (UV - Spray Department, TKG Teakwang Can Tho Co., Ltd.) was surprised and happy. The prize not only helped Ms. Nhien improve her travel conditions but also motivated female workers to strive to produce and complete assigned targets.
“Before Tet, I received gifts from the company, and when I returned to work, I received lucky money and won a motorbike. This is truly a great joy for me. I just hope that the company will always maintain activities like this so that workers are motivated to work. As for me, in the new year, I will try to produce to complete the set targets, increase my income, and continue to accompany the company's development," Nhien shared.
While enjoying a cozy meal at the beginning of the year, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Ha (Ce-Lab Department, TKG Teakwang Can Tho Co., Ltd.) expressed her excitement when she won a prize for the first time at the company. Although she only won an electric fan, for Ms. Ha, this was a lucky and meaningful thing.
“The meal when returning to work after Tet was very cozy and delicious. Everyone gathered together to eat and talk about the joy of the Tet holidays. What was even more joyful was that after working at the company for 8 years, for the first time, I won a prize among more than 17,000 people. The prize value was not too large but it was practical for daily life. With the luck at the beginning of the year, I will work hard to continue to receive more meaningful prizes next year,” Ms. Ha confided.
