As part of a series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2, on the morning of August 26, the Military Command (CHQS) of An Giang province held a house handover ceremony for the martyrs' families with difficult housing circumstances.
The delegation came to hand over the house to Mr. Huynh Van Lieu, born in 1968 and a relative of a martyr who was worshiping and offering to a martyr with difficult housing circumstances in Cong Tre hamlet, Hoa Dien commune.
The delegation also handed over the house of gratitude to Mr. Le Van Men, born in 1961 who was a soldier who directly participated in the resistance war to protect the southwestern border of the Fatherland in Thuan Tien hamlet, Binh Son commune.

Each house handed over on this occasion was supported by the An Giang Military Command's Charity House Construction Fund with 80 million VND, the remaining amount was contributed by the family. On this occasion, the Command of the 3rd - Kien Luong Defense Region also presented each family with a gift.
Supporting the construction and organization of the handover of gratitude houses on this occasion is a very practical and meaningful work, demonstrating the close bond between the army and the people. At the same time, it also contributed to the local Party Committee and government in taking care of the lives of relatives of martyrs, officers and soldiers during the resistance war with difficult housing circumstances.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Colonel Cao Minh Tam, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, also hoped that each family whose house was handed over on this occasion would continue to strive to improve their lives, build a warm and happy family worthy of the tradition of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", always a solid spiritual support for the family, comrades and the people.
This time, the An Giang Provincial Military Command has organized the handover of 5 houses of gratitude in the province, of which the Military Region 9 Command supported the construction of 3 houses, and the An Giang Provincial Military Command mobilized funding from benefactors to support the construction of 2 houses.
