Amazon launches new AI tool to motivate buyers to close orders

QUANG MINH |

Amazon continues to rely on artificial intelligence to convince hesitant customers.

The e-commerce giant has just launched the Help Me Decide tool, using AI to make personalized shopping suggestions based on users' browsing history, searches and preferences.

This tool is designed to help customers who are wondering between many products in the same category and choose the most suitable dish.

When the system detects that you have watched many products but have not decided to buy, the Help Me Decide button will appear on the product details page. If users click, the AI will synthesize relevant data and make optimal recommendations, along with higher upgrade options and similar suggestions for those with limited budgets.

Help Me Decide also has the ability to group related searches. For example, if you have previously seen adult and children's sleeping bags, camping accessories or children's mountain climbing shoes, the tool can suggest a year-round tent, and explain why this is the best choice based on product characteristics and customer reviews.

This is the next step after Amazon introduced the Interests feature earlier this year, allowing users to find products using natural language and experiment with a virtual host using AI to summarize product information.
