Bloomberg revealed in a recent news report that Apple is developing an iCloud-based application that will help employees invite colleagues to events and meetings. The application is codenamed "Confetti" - a festive style that fits the idea of sending invitations.
The app is expected to roll out as early as next week or a little later, around the same time as the launch of iOS 18.3.
The report didn’t reveal many details about “Confetti,” but findings from the iOS 18.3 beta in early January provided more important information. Accordingly, the app used to appear under the name “Invites” before being removed from the official iOS 18.2 version.
From that data, it can be certain that Apple is developing a dedicated tool for sending meeting invitations and organizing events.
Currently, Apple is testing apps internally before releasing them to the public, which means it will be some time before the tool is available to the public.
Apple's internal testing of the "Confetti" app shows that the company is gradually perfecting a more systematic event and meeting management tool.
If successfully developed, this application can deeply integrate with iCloud, Apple Intelligence and the Apple ecosystem, helping users organize their work effectively.
While it's unclear when Apple will release it to the public, given its internal testing strategy before public release, it's likely that "Confetti" will be part of future iOS updates, offering a more modern and convenient calendar organization experience.
