Apple has been ranked as the best-run company in the US by the Drucker Institute's 2024 Management Top 250, dethroning Microsoft after four consecutive years at the top.
Meanwhile, Microsoft fell to third place, while Nvidia rose to second place. The ranking, published in The Wall Street Journal, is based on the principles of management consultant Peter Drucker.
This year, 842 companies were evaluated across key categories: customer satisfaction, innovation, social responsibility, engagement and growth.
Tech companies continue to dominate the list, with the top three names including Apple, Nvidia and Microsoft.
The total score of TOP 10 is as follows:
1. Apple: 92.1
2. Nvidia: 90.1
3. Microsoft: 88.8
4. Intel: 78.5
5. Mastercard: 75.7
6. Johnson & Johnson: 75.5
7. Procter & Gamble: 75.2
8. Alphabet: 74.2
9. Adobe: 73.9
10. Philip Morris International: 73.8
The Drucker Institute used 35 index data from third-party providers to score and compile the rankings. The statistical model was developed by researchers at Claremont Graduate University. Bendable Labs, a private company, collaborated with the Drucker Institute on the data collection and analysis.
