The Vietnam Artificial Intelligence Festival - AI4VN has been an annual event since 2018, directed by the Ministry of Science and Technology, VnExpress Newspaper in coordination with other organizers.
On the morning of September 26, before the plenary session, 3 workshops took place with topics revolving around AI application in life: The value of open source AI for Vietnam; GenAI and the future of learning and teaching; Trends in AI application in the financial sector.
Here, experts discussed outstanding issues with strong applications of AI such as education, banking, corporate governance, finance, etc. Thereby, giving suggestions and proposals from the practice of businesses and research agencies, helping managers have more solutions and orientations to build a sustainable AI ecosystem in Vietnam.
The AI Summit took place on the afternoon of September 26 with the theme "Vietnam in the Global AI Race", to affirm Vietnam's position and role on the world's artificial intelligence map. At the same time, it emphasizes the efforts of the State, businesses and the Vietnamese AI community in the era of national growth.
At the event, speakers focused on discussing Vietnam's position, existing AI resources and infrastructure, as well as necessary preparations for businesses to take advantage of AI. The program also discusses how AI supports and creates a future that connects technology and people. The highlight of the plenary session was impressive performances on stage, notably the human-shaped robot product of VinRobotics and VinMotion.
Within the framework of the program, there is also the Vietnam Artificial Intelligence Awards - AI Awards 2025. The award is organized by VnExpress Newspaper, to honor outstanding solutions and equipment applying artificial intelligence, which have been completed and implemented in practice; contributing to bringing benefits and changing lives, while encouraging the development and application of AI in many areas of life.
At the awards ceremony, FPT AI Agents, AI Application Solutions for Credit Scoring and VNG Cloud AI Stack were honored in the Top 3 Outstanding AI Solutions. Top 5 Vietnamese AI Talents include Dao Tuan Trung (Qualcomm AI Research), Nguyen Hoang Hiep (Filum.ai), Nguyen Khanh Linh (Obello & FPT), Bui Duy Quoc Nghi (FPT Smart Cloud) and Le Yen Thanh (Go Labs Technology).
In the equipment category, Oppo Find N5, Ezviz S10 2K+, Gigabyte Aero X16 and LG OLED evo AI G5 are considered outstanding. Vietnam National University (BUV) was awarded the Outstanding AI Application Education Unit, while Phenikaa-X and Filum received the title of Promising AI Enterprise. Top 3 Outstanding AI Enterprises named FPT Smart Cloud, MoMo and GreenNode.
In addition, activities such as AI Expo, AI Show and Business Matching also take place throughout, connecting nearly 50 domestic and foreign enterprises, creating opportunities for cooperation and introducing the latest technology to the community.
