The Phan Thiet City Smart City Operation Center (IOC) was put into operation in October 2022. Over the past two years, this “digital brain” has collected, standardized, analyzed, processed data and provided timely information, effectively supporting the city’s leaders in directing, operating and performing tasks.

Currently, IOC Phan Thiet includes 9 main subsystems: Field reflection; Socio-economic report; Monitoring press and media information on cyberspace; Security and order surveillance cameras; Traffic safety violation surveillance cameras; Monitoring and management of the health sector; Monitoring and management of education and training; Monitoring of public administration and smart tourism. In which, the Field reflection subsystem is a direct bridge between people, businesses and the government.
If in the past, people had to go directly to state agencies to report, now they just need to open the Phan Thiet-S application, the reported information will be sent immediately and localities will receive, verify, and process the information, contributing to building a modern Phan Thiet city close to the people.

To date, the Phan Thiet City Smart City Operation Center has achieved more than 20,000 application installations and more than 4,000 accounts created by people on the application. The center has received more than 1,100 complaints and completed processing of more than 1,020 complaints.
The security and order surveillance camera system in the IOC system with more than 60 cameras connected in wards and communes has effectively promoted security and order, environmental sanitation and monitoring of illegal land encroachment. In addition, there are also smart features such as fire detection and early warning, helping authorities respond promptly to incidents.

Thanks to the support of the IOC Center, Phan Thiet city has gradually improved urban management, improved people's lives and promoted digital transformation in all fields.
From November 2024, Binh Thuan will also start testing the province's Smart Urban Operations Center until the end of January 2025.
