OpenAI is deploying new interactive feedback in ChatGPT, designed to make chatbots more useful for learners.
Starting today, ChatGPT will create dynamic visual images when users request to explain some scientific and mathematical concepts.
When ChatGPT displays interactive images, users can change variables or the equation itself to observe how those changes affect the result.
According to OpenAI, with this update, ChatGPT can provide interactive visual images for more than 70 different concepts and this list will continue to be expanded in the near future.
These visual images are provided to all ChatGPT users, regardless of the subscription package. However, OpenAI said that high school and university students are likely to be the group that benefits the most from the new feature.
The interactive feedback feature was introduced after ChatGPT launched Study Mode last summer. This mode was developed in the context of more and more students using chatbots to do homework, with the goal of guiding users to find answers themselves instead of providing answers directly.
This is just the beginning. In the near future, we will expand interactive learning to more fields and continue to build tools to help enhance learning capabilities with ChatGPT" - OpenAI said.
