Anthropic has just announced a new memory input tool, allowing to extract all user memory and context data from competing chatbots into a text, then put it into Claude.
With the command provided by Anthropic, users can copy and paste the output into Claude's memory. This chatbot will continue the conversation from the previous stop, even if the user has used ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot.
According to Anthropic, Claude needs about 24 hours to process the entire new context. Anthropic also emphasized that Claude is designed to focus on topics related to work to improve collaboration efficiency, and may not store personal information that does not serve this purpose.
Anthropic's move comes as Claude has just risen to number one in the free app rankings on the App Store, surpassing ChatGPT.
New developments show that the competition between AI companies is entering a more fierce phase, not only in technology but also in core positions and values.
Allowing "bringing memories" from another platform to Claude can become a major lever, helping users transform services without having to start over.
