This is an activity within the framework of the working trip to Korea and the United States of the delegation of leaders of Da Nang City People's Committee. Here, the Da Nang Center for Research, Training in Microchip Design and Artificial Intelligence (DSAC) signed Memorandums of Understanding on cooperation with Korean agencies, organizations and businesses.
The agreements focus on two areas: semiconductor industry and artificial intelligence (AI). In the semiconductor sector, the parties oriented coordination in human resource development, training, research and technology development, microchip design, packaging and semiconductor testing.
Business connection is also identified as an important content. Through this, the parties aim to promote the formation and development of a semiconductor industry ecosystem in Da Nang.
For the field of AI, the content of cooperation focuses on connecting research and training organizations, businesses and international partners. The parties expand cooperation opportunities in research and development, human resource training, innovation and AI application.
According to the content of the agreement, cooperation activities will create conditions for Da Nang to exchange experiences, access technology and training models. At the same time, increase links between training institutions, research organizations and businesses.
To date, Da Nang has friendly and cooperative relations with 9 Korean localities with valid agreements and memorandums of understanding. Including Changwon, Daegu, Osan, Yongin, Seoul, Gwangyang, Jeju Special Autonomous Province, Pyeongtaek and Hamyang District.
The new Memorandums of Understanding are the basis for the two sides to continue implementing specific programs and projects. The focus includes human resource development, research and development, technology transfer and application, and business connection in the field of semiconductors and AI.
Through this, Da Nang expands its international cooperation network, serving the development of high-quality human resources and high-tech industries.
