While working at the company, Mr. Bui Duc Minh (Hanoi) suddenly saw Zalo informing him that the capacity on this application was full. The male employee just uploaded a file of nearly 200MB to the Cloud section of Zalo.
Previously, the Cloud part of this application was always used by Mr. Minh and many other colleagues in the company to store documents and photos for many years. Mr. Minh also said that this is a convenience that he rarely gets when using other applications.
However, after receiving the notice and checking again, Mr. Minh was shocked to discover that the capacity was now only 500MB, reduced by half compared to before.
According to Mr. Minh, the Zalo application provides users with online document storage space, with no time limit, and is only deleted when the user actively operates in case the account is full of Cloud memory and is forced to clean up.
Initially, this capacity is 1GB and is free for users. Users can check the available capacity by going to the Zalo app, accessing the "Personal" section, tapping "My Cloud" and clicking the button with three horizontal stripes in the upper right corner.
Although Zalo has the right to adjust its free services, Cao Thi Thao (Hanoi) also expressed frustration because this application caused trouble for her without prior notice.
"If Zalo had notified users about a day in advance, I wouldn't have needed to rush to find some other application to store documents" - Ms. Thao said angrily.
To find out more about Zalo's sudden reduction in capacity , Ms. Thao also contacted the hotline 1900 561 558 as announced by this application: "To give comments or request other support, please send an email to hotro @zalo.me (include phone number in title) or contact customer care hotline 1900 561 558 (2,000 VND/minute)".
However, when following the operator's instructions, pressing the number "2" key to receive feedback when using Zalo, Ms. Thao received a request to send an email for resolution.
