Google launches the Priority Source feature that allows users to choose specific sources such as a favorite blog or newspaper to make results from these sources more prominent when using Google Search.
This feature has been on Google's hands since June and will be rolled out in the next few days in some countries.
The way to use it is quite simple: users access Google, search for a topic, then click on the "priority source" option. Next, simply enter the name of the published work or the website to prioritize and renew the results.
Google does not limit the number of resources you can choose, but if you choose too many, it will lose the meaning of the feature. When searching, results from priority sources will appear in the outstanding news or from your source section.
The selected sources will be saved in the same account. In addition to helping to personalize the search experience, this feature also opens up opportunities for editors, news sites or blogues to encourage readers to add them to the priority source list just like calling on users to follow on social networks.
