Google launches low-cost AI Plus package with access to Gemini 2.5 Pro

Google introduces a low-cost AI Plus package, providing access to Gemini 2.5 Pro, Veo 3 Fast, and integrating AI in Google Workspace with 200GB of storage.

Google has just announced a new subscription package called AI Plus, to help users more easily access the artificial intelligence tools that the company is developing.

This is a service package between free packages and high-end paid packages AI Pro, AI Ultra, providing a choice of balance between advanced features and costs.

According to the introduction, the AI Plus package provides access to the Gemini 2.5 Pro model with the Veo 3 Fast video creation tool.

A noteworthy point is that Gemini's notification code context window has been expanded to 128K, four times the free package's 32K limit, helping the model process large amounts of data and more complex context.

In addition, AI Plus users can also exploit the Gemini dashboard integrated directly into Google Workspace apps such as Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, and Drive.

They also experienced additional tools such as Whisk ( converting images to videos) and Flow (video editing).

In addition, the service package comes with 200GB of cloud storage on Gmail, Drive and Google Photos.

The price of AI Plus is currently only deployed in Indonesia, at 75,000 rupiah per month (equivalent to about 120,000 VND in Vietnam), with a 50% discount in the first six months.

This move is considered Google's effort to expand the spectrum of AI users in emerging markets, where high-end subscription costs are still a barrier.

Earlier this year, Google also deployed AI mode in India, supporting multiple languages such as Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Indonesian and Portuguese Brazil, demonstrating its strategy of globalizing AI products.

With the appearance of AI Plus, Google is showing its ambition to popularize artificial intelligence, not only serving high-end customers but also targeting mass users, contributing to bringing AI closer to daily life.
