This information was officially announced at the press conference before the 1st Congress of the City Party Committee, term 2025-2030, on the morning of September 12.
The Congress will take place for 3 days (September 16, 2025) at the hall of the City Political School. The fair was held on the morning of September; the official fair on September 17 and 18 closed on the morning of September 18.
The Congress was attended by 548 delegates and guests, of which 450 were official delegates. The theme of the Congress is: "Building a clean and strong Party and political system; promoting cultural identity, revolutionary traditions, great solidarity and development aspirations; building a civilized, modern Da Nang city with high quality of life, becoming the growth pole of Vietnam, entering a new era of national development with the whole country". Action motto: "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Creativity - Development".
Regarding personnel, the City Party Committee Executive Committee for the new term is expected to have 75 members. Of which, 73 people were introduced for re-election, 2 people participated for the first time in the City Party Executive Committee (City Military Commission Executive Committee, City Chief Justice).
The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee is expected to have 23 members; the City Party Committee's leadership is expected to have 6 members, including the Secretary and 5 Deputy Secretaries (currently there are Secretaries and 4 Deputy Secretaries).
The number of Vice Chairmen of the City People's Council for the 2026-2031 term is 4 people; the number of Vice Chairmen of the City People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term is 8 people; the number of Deputy Heads of the National Assembly Delegation of Da Nang City for the 16th term of 2026-2031 is 1 person.
The structure of young cadres under 42 years old is 1/75 people, a rate of 1.33%; female cadres account for 15/75 people, a rate of 20%; ethnic minority cadres 4/75 people, account for 5.3%; cadres with scientific and technological qualifications 4/75 people, account for 5.3%.
Welcoming the Congress, Da Nang City will implement 8 key projects and works with a total investment of more than 134,706 billion VND; and many unique cultural and artistic programs.
With the motto of thrift, Da Nang did not accept flowers to congratulate the 1st City Party Congress, term 2025-2030. At the same time, they will break the wave and tighten security in the Congress area to ensure success and absolute safety.
