On July 25, global cybersecurity company Kaspersky coordinated with the Vietnam Information Security Department (Department of Information Security) - Ministry of Information and Communications (Ministry of Information and Communications), to organize the program "Interactive protection simulation training by Kaspersky (KIPS)" to help businesses proactively respond to complex and evolving threats in the digital landscape.
This program not only improves cyber security skills and awareness for business leaders but also helps them prepare comprehensive response plans for emergency situations.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the training session, Mr. Le Van Tuan - Director of the Information Security Department - shared about the long-term cooperative relationship between Kaspersky and the Information Security Department, and emphasized the role of Kaspersky, as a supplier Cyber security solutions have always continuously brought quality products, continuously updated market information and contributed significantly to a safer digital future.
"Through this interactive simulation exercise, we hope that leaders and those responsible for ensuring information security will have an intuitive and overall view of the organization's information security situation. From there, we can take correct and effective actions in today's increasingly complex information security context," Mr. Tuan said.
According to statistics, the Department of Information Security has protected and prevented 3,170 online fraud websites and protected more than 10.9 million people from fraudulent and illegal websites. However, personal data leakage is very common, especially through malicious devices. Faced with this situation, businesses are forced to prepare comprehensive response plans, ensuring operational consistency to protect resources and secure business information.
During the event, Ms. Genie Sugene Gan, Director of Government Relations and Public Policy for Asia-Pacific, Japan, Middle East, Turkey and Africa at Kaspersky, emphasized that: "Digital transformation plays an important role in the process of integrating technology into business operations, modernizing processes and operations management. However, this also increases the attack surface for businesses. Cybercrime".
Kaspersky's KIPS training program is designed in game form, simulating real-life situations that businesses face every day. These situations help participants improve their judgment skills and better understand cybersecurity principles.
Through KIPS, users will participate in realistic simulation situations, train judgment skills based on analyzing large volumes of data, and effectively manage business resources. The management team will be equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge and strategies to ensure the security of business operations.
