On January 4, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province announced that it had approved the Project on vocational education development in Khanh Hoa province until 2030, with a vision to 2045.
According to the Project, by 2030, Khanh Hoa province strives to complete the goals of the vocational education network to meet the human resource needs through vocational training for the labor market in terms of quantity, quality, occupational structure and training level, serving the socio-economic development of the locality.
In addition, Khanh Hoa province aims to invest in developing a public college to become a regional center for high-quality vocational training and practice; the training quality of some schools will approach the level of countries in the ASEAN region. Reduce at least 30% of public vocational training institutions compared to 2020; increase the rate of private vocational training institutions and foreign-invested vocational training institutions to about 50%.
Ensure the target of no less than 50 - 55% of high school students entering the vocational education system; vocational training at college and intermediate levels accounts for about 26 - 30% of the total enrollment and training scale; increase the rate of trained workers in the province to 90%...
To achieve the above objectives, the Project has set out tasks and solutions such as standardizing the teaching staff of key occupations, occupations approaching regional and world levels; and having specific policies for this team.
Develop training programs for new occupations, occupations related to IT, AI, occupations that meet the requirements of the 4th Industrial Revolution, “green” occupations, occupations that meet the requirements of businesses and the labor market; diversify training methods (direct, online, direct combined with online); strengthen cooperation with businesses to improve the quality of vocational training.
