On the morning of March 21, 2025, at Station H01060, No. 22 Ly Tu Trong, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation held an inauguration ceremony and installed a signboard for a typical project to celebrate the 3rd Party Congress of the Corporation, term 2025 - 2030. This is one of the strategic milestones, marking an important step forward in MobiFone's 5G development and commercialization process.
At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hong Hien - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Members of the Corporation affirmed that successfully broadcasting 5G projects in 2025 is a key task that MobiFone has committed to implementing after being licensed to deploy 5G commercialization.
The completion on schedule, ensuring the quality of network infrastructure and the number of 5G broadcasting stations in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces not only demonstrates the technical capacity and radio network capacity but also affirms MobiFone's position compared to competitors in the market.
Through this inauguration event, MobiFone once again demonstrated its determination to master core technologies, create a solid technical foundation, a quality ecosystem with many products and services to help improve the lives of customers. With that meaning, the Corporation has selected and attached a signboard to welcome the Party Congress for this project, demonstrating the strategic role of 5G in MobiFone's long-term development orientation.
Also at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hong Hien - Chairman of the Board of Directors of MobiFone awarded the Certificate of Outstanding Work to the representative of MobiFone Southern Network Center, which is a testament to MobiFone's determination to complete phase 1 of 5G coverage in 2025, determined to conquer modern technology to meet the increasingly high demand of customers.
Then, on March 26, 2025, MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation officially announced the provision of 5G services, the first phase focusing on the center of major provinces and cities. In the coming time, MobiFone will continue to strive to expand coverage, aiming for 5G coverage to each commune nationwide.
