Can Tho - On the morning of July 30, a conference and training on information security for journalists in the digital environment in 2026 took place.

According to the organizers, the conference and training in 2026 will focus on 3 topics: Identifying fake news, verifying information and content generated by artificial intelligence in journalistic and digital media activities; Ensuring network security in the field of journalism; Using AI in journalism.

The workshop and training took place for 2 days (July 30 - 31) with 113 trainees participating.

Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Dang Khac Loi - Deputy Director of the Press Department said that the workshop and training aims to raise awareness, responsibility and vigilance for the leadership and management team, specialized officials on digital transformation of the press and journalists, reporters, and editors of press agencies in the face of increasingly complex information security and network security risks in the digital age.
