According to Lao Dong reporters' records on the morning of September 18, at CellphoneS's delivery point on Cau Giay street (Hanoi), from about 7 am, the first customers came to wait to receive iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
At about 7:30 am, the number of customers present at the drop-off point was about 10 people. Customers mainly sat waiting for the time to receive the phone according to the system's schedule, no scene of long queues like some previous iPhone sales openings appeared.
Mr. Ngoc Lan, the first person to arrive at the delivery point, said that in the year of the launch of iPhone 16 Pro Max, he had to queue from 12 pm because Apple started returning the phone from midnight. This year, he arrived after 7 am but was still the first person to arrive to wait to receive the phone.
Not only at CellphoneS, records at some other stores in Hanoi also show that the number of customers coming to receive phones on the morning of September 18 was not too crowded. Some points of sale were quite deserted in the early days of opening.

According to information, the main systems organize to return machines to pre-ordered customers, starting from about 8 am. Distributing machines according to pre-orders also makes it not necessary for customers to come from the night before to reserve seats like in some years.
The lack of customers on the first day of opening sales creates a notable difference compared to the usual images in previous iPhone seasons, when users often gathered crowded at points of sale from the night before or early morning.
However, the number of customers at each store also depends on the device return schedule, the number of pre-orders and the iPhone version that customers choose. Some versions and colors with high pre-orders still have to wait for the next batches of goods.
