Apple will bring more than 10 iPhone 18 Pros into the recording system of the match between the two baseball teams, Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants. The match takes place on September 18 at Dodger Stadium - the home stadium of Los Angeles Dodgers (USA).
iPhone 18 Pro models will be arranged in many positions around the stadium to record the diễn biến of the match from special angles. Apple said the device will be used to record from the ball training session, player introduction, bench area to the atmosphere in the stands.
According to Apple, the compact size of the iPhone allows the device to access locations that traditional television cameras find difficult to do, thereby adding new perspectives to the broadcast program.
This is not the first time Apple has used iPhone Pro to record MLB matches. In 2025, the company ordered 4 iPhone 17 Pros at Fenway Park, to record a match between two baseball teams, Boston Red Sox and Detroit Tigers.
One of the iPhone 17 Pros used at that time was later put on display at the US National Museum and Hall of Fame for Baseball.
The continued inclusion of the iPhone 18 Pro in the program production system shows that this device is being exploited by Apple not only as a product for individual users but also as a tool to support recording in sports events.
The baseball match between Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants will take place in the US and will be broadcast live on Apple TV within the framework of the Friday Night Baseball program.
According to Apple's schedule, the match starts at 7 pm on September 18 Pacific time (around 9 am on September 19 Vietnam time).
