Samsung has begun rolling out the first security patch for its latest flagship phone line, the Galaxy S25.

Information about the February 2025 security update was discovered by a user on the Samsung Korea forum (according to Sam Mobile).

This person said that the update has appeared on the Galaxy S25, which means the Galaxy S25 Plus and S25 Ultra will also soon receive it.

The patch, numbered S93xNKSU1AYB3, was released for One UI 7 on Android 15, the operating system that comes with the latest flagship trio.

Users have also shared a screenshot of the software update on their device. Accordingly, this update has very light capacity, with the content mainly focusing on "improving system stability".

Samsung has also integrated February security patches from Google.

Notably, a serious security vulnerability could allow attackers to "cause memory errors" on the Galaxy S25 devices that have been fixed.

Another chip collection flaw of Qualcomm has also been fixed, helping to prevent bad guys from reading and recording data outside the memory range.

Currently, the patch has only appeared in Korea. With the end of the week, users in other regions such as the US and Europe may receive the update next week. If you are interested, you can check manually on your device to update the February 2025 security patch.

The Galaxy S25 series is receiving great attention from the user community and Samsung's quick release of a security patch shows its commitment to protecting the device from security threats. Although this update does not bring new features, the improvements in security and system stability are still very valuable.
