Apple has just announced that the "more personalized" Siri version that it promised to launch last year will be delayed.
This also means that the smart home control center that Apple is developing will miss its deadline with users, according to Bloomberg author Mark Gurman.
In an official statement, Apple said that Siri's upgraded features - part of the Apple Intelligence technology set - "will take longer than expected to complete" and the company plans to launch them "next year".
Gurman revealed that Apple's smart home control center depends on new Siri features, so it has also been postponed.
According to sources, the device will be equipped with a 6-inch wall-mounted touchscreen, video calling support, control of smart devices in the home and mainly voice control.
Despite the delay, Apple is still implementing an internal testing program, allowing employees to bring their devices home for use and contribute feedback.
