On the evening of April 29, according to information from the Radio Frequency Department (Ministry of Science and Technology), the unit successfully handled the case of radio interference affecting the operation of many smartkey devices for cars and motorbikes around No. 23 Lane 10 Luu Quang Vu, Yen Hoa ward.
Previously, at about 4 pm on April 29, the Radio Frequency Department received feedback from readers through the unit's Facebook fanpage about the phenomenon of many smartkey devices in the area operating abnormally, causing difficulties for people when using vehicles.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Radio Frequency Center Region I (under the Radio Frequency Department) quickly deployed data collection and verified the source of interference.

Until before 6:22 PM on the same day, the interference situation was completely resolved.
According to functional agencies, the cause of the incident was determined to originate from a fire alarm at a foreign language center on Tham Tam street, Yen Hoa ward, Hanoi. This device encountered a technical problem and emitted over the frequency of 434.0125 MHz, coinciding with the frequency range used by some smart motorbike locking devices, thereby causing interference.
The Radio Frequency Department said that timely handling has contributed to ensuring security and safety for people during the April 30 and May 1 holidays.
