On November 27, the Department of Science and Technology of Quang Ninh province said: The authorities of Quang Ninh province received feedback from people about many remote control devices such as car smart locks, motorbikes (smartkey) and rolling doors not operating simultaneously within a radius of about 20m around Ben Do Lake Beach Road, Cam Pha Ward.
After receiving the report on November 11, the working group including the Radio Frequency Center Region V, the Department of Science and Technology of Quang Ninh, and the Cam Pha Ward Police conducted an inspection, verification, and handling of the incident.
Through inspection, the authorities determined that the source of frequency disturbances came from the TRND16 vibe newspaper equipment used by a family in coffee sales activities.
The device operates on a frequency of 434.1 MHz, with a power of 4.5W, without a compliance stamp and does not meet the requirements of Circular 08/2021/TT-BTTTT of the Ministry of Information and Communications.

This device broadcasts strongly, overlapping with the frequency band with remote control devices of cars, motorbikes and rolling doors, leading to a series of people's devices losing signal.
After the inspection team propagated and instructed, the household owner stopped using it and committed to destroying the violating device. As soon as the device was turned off, the remote control smart locks returned to normal operation.
The competent authority recommends that organizations and individuals only use devices with certificates and compliance stamps ( Tem CR), complying with legal regulations on radio frequency management.
When detecting suspected waves, people need to notify the Radio Frequency Center or the Department of Science and Technology for support in handling.
