Rap and construction are like two parallel lines and do not have much to do with each other, surely many people think so. Even Mr. Pham Van Chien, the owner of the rap song about construction engineers, was skeptical and worried for many years. Until he found a suitable and open working environment, which created conditions for him to live fully with these two passions.
Mr. Pham Van Chien, born in 1991, is a field engineer, born in Thanh Hoa, a land of sunshine and wind. He has experienced many working environments until joining Giza Vietnam - a reputable industrial construction general contractor, specializing in the design and construction of industrial factories across the country.
During nearly 3 years working at Giza, he is known as a positive cultural core of the company. Mr. Chien shared: “The nature of a field engineer's job is to endure the sun and rain, wake up early and stay up late to work overtime, and closely follow the progress of construction projects. Although it is so hard, I am still passionate and consider it my "career". When carrying out projects, I get to know my colleagues from all over the country. Although their hometowns and personalities are different, over time, everyone is close and familiar like brothers in the same family. All of those interesting slices have been put into the lyrics of the rap song "Nguoi con Giza". This is like a special gift that I give to my colleagues at Giza Vietnam".
“Rap music is always in my blood,” Chien began to cherish the idea of making a rap song about the company. From one project to another, he wrote up to 3 rap songs but none of them were completely completed. Because, according to him, rap music is very picky about emotions, so the composer himself must have real emotions to write lyrics that touch the hearts of listeners.
“I thought that my rap would continue to be unfinished on the pages. However, coincidentally, the Giza's Got Talent 2024 contest organized by the Company was like a new turning point. This playground seemed to give me more motivation and inspiration to connect all 3 rap songs and become a complete work called "The Son of Giza", Mr. Chien confided.
As a way to fulfill his promise to his colleagues, he boldly registered to participate and performed his rap song in the final night of Giza's Got Talent 2024 in Ha Long. As soon as the results were announced, "an indescribable feeling" came over this engineer from Thanh Hoa when he was named the Champion of this year's talent contest.
Through the rap song “Nguoi con Giza”, the Board of Directors of Giza Vietnam highly appreciated and was moved by the special affection that this field engineer born in 1991 has for the company, so they decided to sponsor the production of this MV. This can also be considered a spiritual gift for all 400 employees of the Group on the occasion of the company's 11th anniversary (September 4, 2013 - September 4, 2024).
