The net assets of Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Vietjet Air, continue to increase strongly according to the latest update from Forbes. Currently, her assets have reached 4.2 billion USD, an increase of 1.21% compared to before, putting her at 957 on the list of billionaires in the world. Compared to January 4, 2025, her assets have increased from 2.8 billion USD to 4.2 billion USD, equivalent to an increase of 1.4 billion USD in just 11 months.
The positive developments of the domestic stock market also contributed to boosting the value of the female billionaire's assets. At the end of the session on November 18, VJC (Vietjet Air) shares increased by 1.47% to VND 179,000/share; HDB (HDBank) increased by 0.67% to VND 30,050/share.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao currently holds more than 202.4 million VJC shares, including 47.47 million shares held directly (equivalent to 8.76% of capital) and nearly 155 million shares through Huong Duong Sunny Investment Company Limited (equivalent to 28.6% of capital). With the price of the session on November 18, this stock is estimated to be worth about VND 36,230 billion.
At HDBank, Ms. Thao owns 107.661 million HDB shares, equivalent to 3.7% of charter capital, with a market value of about VND 3,235 billion.
