In the afternoon of March 31, the Naval Academy and Naval Region 4 organized a conference to sign regulations on coordination in training, education and scientific research.
Rear Admiral, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Thanh Cong - Director of the Naval Academy and Rear Admiral Nguyen Anh Tuan - Commander of Naval Region 4 co-chaired the conference.

Assessing the period 2022 - 2025, the two units proactively coordinated, comprehensively and in accordance with the plan implemented the set goals. This activity contributes practically to improving the quality of training, coaching, scientific research and practical capacity for staff, lecturers, and students.

The results of cooperation create an important foundation to build a contingent of cadres with firm political bravery and high professional qualifications, meeting the requirements of protecting sea and island sovereignty in the new situation.
Reviewing the outstanding achievements in the past 4 years, the internship work of students always maintains a high rate of achieving good and excellent grades. The two sides successfully organized many delegations of officials, lecturers and students to visit, study, and conduct practical research in Region 4.
Many leaders and commanders of units under Region 4 directly participated in imparting training and combat readiness experience at the Naval Academy.
In addition, the two units regularly maintain field training activities and practical learning on the islands of the Truong Sa archipelago.
Especially in the field of scientific research, heads of Region 4 Command, Brigade 162 and the Naval Academy participated in the steering committee of 3 military art projects at the Ministry of National Defense level.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and proposing innovations in content, form and methods of coordination. The core criteria are to stick to reality, strengthen the application of digital technology and promote scientific research in accordance with the actual conditions of grassroots units.
Regarding the orientation for the coming time, the Naval Academy and Naval Region 4 agreed to continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the guidelines and regulations on coordination work. The two units strengthen unified leadership and direction to ensure synchronous and close cooperation activities.
The focus is to innovate the training program in the direction of linking theory with practice, creating conditions for students to visit and study at units directly performing tasks at sea and islands.
The two sides promote scientific research coordination, focusing on topics related to training and combat readiness tasks.
Along with that, maximize the role of officials and lecturers in researching and directly applying the results to the practical activities of the unit.
