Lao Cai Provincial Border Guard Command in coordination with the Department of Justice and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just organized a program to disseminate laws, foreign information and deploy the digital literacy movement in Muong Khuong border commune (Lao Cai), attracting a large number of ethnic minorities to participate, according to the Lao Cai Provincial e-Portal.
The highlight of the program on July 20 and 21 is the staged performances, conveying the content of the National Border Law, the Law on Marriage and Family with stories close to life.

Through this, people better understand the consequences of early marriage and consanguineous marriage and raise awareness of law compliance. The organizing committee also supports travel expenses for delegates who are local people to create conditions to participate in the program.
Faced with the complicated crime situation on the border line, the Border Guard force and specialized agencies have disseminated knowledge to identify human trafficking and smuggling tricks across the border, and at the same time guided people to coordinate in protecting border lines and landmarks, and maintaining security in border areas.
Within the framework of the program, the digital literacy movement is being implemented with many practical contents. People are guided to identify forms of fraud in cyberspace, use smartphones safely, protect personal information and practice using online public services to resolve administrative procedures.
Through the coordination between the Lao Cai Provincial Border Guard and specialized agencies, the program contributes to raising legal awareness and digital skills for ethnic minorities, while consolidating the people's hearts and strengthening the strength to protect national sovereignty and border security.
