Cao Bang - People in Quang Long commune voluntarily handed over 1 flintlock gun, 1 crossbow and 8 military ammunition, contributing to maintaining security and order in the area.

On August 14, Cao Bang Provincial Police said that Quang Long Commune Police had just received weapons and military ammunition voluntarily handed over by people.

This is the result of the peak period of general review, mobilizing the entire population to hand over and fight against crimes and violations of the law on weapons, explosives, supporting tools and firecrackers in the commune in 2026.

Over the past time, Quang Long Commune Police have promoted propaganda and mobilized people to comply with the provisions of law on management and use of weapons, explosives, supporting tools and firecrackers.

The police force also guided people to proactively review and hand over weapons and dangerous items being illegally stored.

Through propaganda, people's awareness of the risk of unsafety from the manufacture, purchase, sale, transportation, storage and illegal use of weapons has gradually been raised.

On August 13, Quang Long Commune Police received 1 flintlock gun, 1 crossbow and 8 military rounds voluntarily handed over by people.

After receiving it, the commune police made a record and managed the above weapons and ammunition according to regulations.

The voluntary handover of weapons and military ammunition helps remove dangerous items from the community, limiting the risk of accidents and law violations.
