Ha Tinh - Over the past time, thanks to the government, Border Guards and mass organizations' concern and support, the lives of the Chut ethnic people have gradually improved.

On March 29, Mr. Duong Ngoc Hoang - Chairman of Phuc Trach Commune People's Committee said that in the past time, the government, Border Guards and organizations and unions have paid much attention and support to the Chut ethnic people in Rao Tre village (Phuc Trach commune). Thanks to that, people's lives have gradually improved. In Rao Tre village, there are a total of 46 Chut ethnic households with 161 people.

Currently, many households have learned to cultivate wet rice, raise pigs and chickens, and plant acacia trees in the forest to increase income.

A part of the village's youth have gone to work as workers and hired laborers in the South.

Previously, besides a difficult and backward life, consanguineous marriage also occurred in Rao Tre village.

However, recently this situation has decreased thanks to the local policy of encouraging and supporting money when the Chut ethnic people marry Kinh people.

Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Border Guard Command to preside over and coordinate with departments, branches, and localities to participate in the survey.

After that, advise on relevant contents according to functions and tasks, and report the results to the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee after completing the task.

The distance from Rao Tre village to Ca Xen village is estimated at about 15 km.

People and local authorities expect to soon deploy the construction of a road from Rao Tre village to Ca Xen village to help people conveniently travel, exchange goods, and promote socio-economic development.
