The ceremony was attended by Central Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee Huynh Thanh Dat.
Nguyen Thi Tot Primary School was newly built, replacing the old, degraded headquarters, with a total investment of more than 37.8 billion VND. The construction area is 1,188 m2, the total floor area is 3,566 m2.
Mr. Huynh Minh Tuan - Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee - emphasized that the use of the new school, named after female martyr - Nguyen Thi Tot, will remind students to constantly strive, practice, live worthy of the sacrifices of the previous generation, continue to write glorious pages of history with academic achievements. Students will also have the opportunity to study, play and develop comprehensively in terms of intelligence, physical strength and personality.
Mr. Tuan hopes that the school's Board of Directors and teachers will constantly innovate, improve the quality of teaching, strive to build the school into a bright spot in education in the province; students study hard, practice ethics to become useful citizens.
On this occasion, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee presented the Department of Informatics Practice; Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee presented the Department of STEM Education Practice to Nguyen Thi Tot Primary School.
