At 10:00 p.m. on July 21, the storm continued to move in the West Southwest direction, at a speed of 15-20km/h. The center of the storm is at about 20.7 degrees North latitude - 108.1 degrees East longitude in the North of the Gulf of Tonkin. Storm intensity 11-12, gust level 15.
Due to the impact of storm No. 3, the Northeast region, the Northern Delta, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An will have heavy to very heavy rain, generally 120-250mm, some places exceeding 400mm.
Other places in the North and Ha Tinh will have heavy rain, locally very heavy rain, commonly 70-150mm, some places over 200mm. Warning of heavy rain over 150mm/3 hours. During thunderstorms, there may be: tornadoes, lightning, hail, strong gusts of wind.
Total rainfall from 21-23.7 in the Northeast region, Northern Delta, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An is about 200-350mm, some places over 600mm. Other places in the North and Ha Tinh reached 100-200mm, some places more than 300mm.
