The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has updated the weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow (July 9) in regions across the country.
On July 9, hot sun will continue to appear in the area from Nghe An to Da Nang City and the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak. The highest temperature is commonly from 35-36 degrees C, in some places exceeding 36 degrees C; the lowest humidity fluctuates from 55-60%.
On July 10, hot weather will be concentrated in the area from Quang Tri to Da Nang City and the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak. The highest temperature is commonly 35-37 degrees Celsius, some places may experience intense heat above 37 degrees Celsius. The lowest humidity is only about 50-55%.
According to the meteorological agency, hot weather in the area from Quang Tri to Da Nang City and the eastern provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak are likely to last for many days to come. The level of disaster risk due to hot weather is warned at level 1.
Prolonged hot weather combined with low air humidity increases the risk of fire and explosion in residential areas due to increased electricity demand. People should supplement enough water, limit working or outdoor activities during hot sunny weather to reduce the risk of dehydration, heat shock and adverse effects on health.
