Choosing a new direction to improve people's income, Tua Thang commune has become a community tourism and ecotourism destination for tourists from all directions. Not only bringing new experiences, this tourism approach also contributes to effectively exploiting the potential of the Da River reservoir area.

Amidst the majestic Northwest mountains, the Da River lake in Tua Thang appears with its blue water surface, and rolling rocky mountains reflecting on the lake surface, creating a scene that is both majestic and poetic. Many tourists compare this place to "miniature Ha Long Bay in the Northwest sky" because of its rare, peaceful beauty.
The highlight in the river space is Pa Phong bridge - a silk strip with a characteristic red color spanning the lake, connecting the two banks between overlapping mountains. From above the bridge, visitors can take a panoramic view of the vast lake surface and the green mountain ranges stretching from the Northwest highlands.

Mr. Tran Thanh Binh - Head of the Economic Department of Tua Thang commune said: "The locality determines to develop tourism based on the advantages of the Da River lake landscape, associated with community culture and natural ecology. This will be a direction to help people improve their income in the coming time.
Along the lake, Huoi Loong village of the Dao people impresses with stilt houses nestled on the mountainside, facing the vast water. Peaceful, fresh space and a relaxing rhythm of life bring a different experience to visitors.
Returning to nature during the resort trip, Ms. Mai Thu Duyen, a tourist from Hanoi, shared: "I am very impressed with the beauty of the Da River lake in Tua Thang. The space here is fresh, peaceful, the mountain scenery and water surface blend together to create a feeling of relaxation and closeness to nature".
Currently, many households along the lake have developed homestay models to serve tourists. In hamlet 2, Tua Thang commune, Ms. Quang Thi Hoa's family invested in 7 bungalow rooms and a community house to welcome guests to relax and experience life in the lakeside area.
Ms. Hoa said: "Although grid electricity conditions are still difficult, my family still welcomes about 6-10 groups of guests each month. In addition to tourism, my family also buys fish and shrimp caught by people on the lake to serve tourists and provide gifts, helping to increase income.
Coming to Tua Thang, visitors can take a boat sightseeing, fishing, experience life by the lake and enjoy ethnic dishes.

Tua Thang is now not only attractive because of the pristine beauty of the Da River lake, but also attracts tourists with the peace and simplicity of the highland life.
If invested methodically and exploited reasonably, this place promises to become a unique destination for Northwest tourism, where tourists want to return to find nature and original experiences.
