Da Nang introduces new tourism products to China

From 2016 to 2019, China has always been one of the key markets for Da Nang tourism with the number of visitors growing steadily every year.

From November 3 to 8, 2024, the delegation of the Da Nang Department of Tourism participated in the Vietnam Culture and Tourism Festival in Kunming and the Vietnam Culture and Tourism Introduction Program in Chongqing organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam.

The organization of the Vietnam Cultural and Tourism Festival in Kunming and the Vietnam Cultural and Tourism Introduction Program in Chongqing are activities towards the 75th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China.

Furthermore, the event is an opportunity for localities in Vietnam, including Da Nang, to introduce new destinations and unique tourism products, attracting the attention of Chinese tourists and media, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of promoting Vietnamese tourism.

At this event, the delegation of the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City led by Mr. Tan Van Vuong - Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism with the participation of a number of travel agencies. Da Nang Tourism focused on promoting to partners and travel agents in Kunming and Chongqing (China) about beach resort tourism, cultural tourism, cuisine, shopping, MICE tourism, golf, wedding tourism and festivals and events of Da Nang.

Localities and businesses, including Da Nang tourism, had the opportunity to approach, exchange and introduce tourism products and services with partners in the B2B space, promoting the exchange of customers between the parties.

Mr. Tan Van Vuong said: “Da Nang has long been a favorite destination for Chinese tourists. Through this program, we hope to promote the presence of Da Nang tourism in China, introduce the image and brand of safe, friendly, hospitable Da Nang tourism, and introduce new Da Nang tourism products to the Chinese market.”
