On the afternoon of August 29, the opening ceremony of the "Dices from Bazan and Sea" Food Festival took place at Children's Park; Exhibition of OCOP products, craft villages; Gia Lai Coffee and Gong Culture Festival.

This is one of the activities in a series of events to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on September 2 of Gia Lai province.

The festival has 94 booths introducing dishes imbued with the identity of Gia Lai's sea and forest; OCOP products, traditional craft villages; and creative coffee experience space.

From delicious Robusta beans of the plateau, creative drinks such as egg coffee, salted coffee, pineapple leaf coffee, coconut water coffee... are brewed and served for free to visitors throughout the festival.

At the opening ceremony, chefs of Mai Tin Company Limited and the Gia Lai Province Culinary Culture Association demonstrated the techniques of cutting, filing and processing ocean tuna, attracting the attention of many people and tourists. From the ingredients of ocean tuna, combined with products of the highland basalt region, many unique dishes have been " initiated".

The highlight of the festival is the program "Introducing the culinary art of ocean tuna", serving 5,000 free meals to diners. The program takes place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. every day, from August 29 to September 1.

Enjoying ocean tuna sashimi at the event, Miss Vietnam Tourism Ambassador 2024 Dinh Thi Hoa shared: "Hoa is a person who really likes tuna sashimi and it is interesting to enjoy it right here. The fish meat is very fresh and sweet, really delicious.
I hope everyone will spend time visiting and enjoying dishes with rich forest and sea flavors such as grilled chicken with rice, ocean tuna, etc., while immersing themselves in the gong melody and the Central Highlands coffee space".
