Northern Region on the night of August 7 and August 8, and during the day on August 8, there will be scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. Specifically, in the Northwest and Northeast regions, there will be scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, with isolated heavy rain. On the same day, it will be sunny, with some areas experiencing heatwaves; meanwhile, in Nam Son La, Hoa Binh, and the eastern part of the Northern Region, it will be extremely hot.
On the night of August 8 and August 9, and during the day on August 9, there will be scattered rain showers and thunderstorms; it will be hot, with some areas experiencing heatwaves, and extremely hot in Nam Son La, Hoa Binh, and the lowlands.
Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen Region will experience scattered rain showers and thunderstorms during the evening and night, with heatwaves and extremely hot temperatures.
Region from Khanh Hoa to Binh Thuan will experience scattered rain showers and thunderstorms during the evening and night, with sunny weather.
Central Highlands and Southern Region will experience scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, with isolated heavy rain. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.
Weather Forecast from August 9 to August 17
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has issued a weather forecast for some regions from August 9 to August 17.
Northern Region on August 10, it will be extremely hot; meanwhile, in Nam Son La, Hoa Binh, and the lowlands, it will be extremely hot and scorching. From around August 10, there will be scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms, with isolated heavy rain.
Central Region will experience heatwaves and extremely hot temperatures. From around August 14-15, the heatwaves will gradually subside.
Central Highlands and Southern Region from August 10 to 17, there will be scattered rain showers and thunderstorms during the evening and night. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.
