"A long journey to fight this evil disease has been so resilient,ap, from now on I will no longer have to endure the pain, restap,"ap's mother wrote.
Ms. Thu Hoa thanked those who have accompanied and loved babyap in the past.
Babyap's real name is Minh Hai, born in 2021. Before passing away, the child had a period of treatment in Singapore and had completed the CAR-T culture method.
Previously, Le Thi Thu Hoa and TikToker Pham Thoai were involved in a scandal surrounding the call for donations for cancer treatment costs for babyap.
At the end of 2024, Pham Thoai appeared many times in a livestream to sell goods with Ms. Hoa and called on everyone to support baby Intake for treatment.
After only one day of calling, Pham Thoai's account received more than 500 million VND in support. As of February 24, 2025, this amount is up to 16.7 billion VND. Most of the money has been withdrawn from the account (according to Mrs. Buoc's public disclosure, there are still 55 million VND left).
On the evening of February 25, Pham Thoai livestreamed a statement of 16.7 billion VND on TikTok channel.
In front of hundreds of thousands of viewers, Pham Thoai publicly announced the invoices of a hospital in Singapore - where babyap is being treated. The process of receiving and withdrawing money with time frames was also posted.
TikToker and babyap's mother denied all rumors of embezzling charity money, and were ready to take responsibility if there were any violations.
