In recent episodes of "Steps into Life", family conflicts are pushed to a climax when the character Thuong continuously lacks faith in her siblings - Minh and Trang. Instead of listening to and understanding the origin of the matter, Thuong chooses to blame, impose and attribute mistakes.
From accusing Minh of stealing money from Ms. Dung (Quan's mother) or most recently suspecting Trang of being a "infants", Thuong's accusations not only hurt her honor but also stifled the emotions of her younger siblings.
If you accidentally marry someone, pay them back" or "How should you be to make them like you" - Thuong's words made the two of us feel disappointed. Family should be the safest place, the place where everyone can find peace. But when even that place is full of suspicion, people easily fall into emotional isolation, lost direction.

At the peak when Trang was exonerated, Thuong still instructed: "But that is still a lesson for me to learn from", causing Trang to truly collapse and have to say: "When would you not believe outsiders, and I am always the wrong one".
It is no longer the usual conflicts in the family, but the collapse of the most important foundation: Belief - which is an invisible but strong bond, helping members rely on each other amidst upheavals.
After being resisted by the children, Thuong went to Quan to confide, admitting that she was wrong in her way of educating the children. Thuong realized that her love always goes hand in hand with fear and control because she was worried that the children would go astray.
The film has shown that in reality, many people in the family often think that they "understand" their loved ones, so they easily draw conclusions without listening. That subjectivity inadvertently turns love into pressure, turns care into control and judgment.
The message of these details is not only limited to the story of Thuong, Minh and Trang, but also a reminder for each family: Learn to listen before judging, and trust before doubting.
Through these upheavals, will Thuong change her views and perspectives, and what will she do to protect her children from temptations when they first step into life?
