On the morning of July 1, at the Vinh Hung Ward Public Administration Service Center (old Vinh City) of Nghe An province, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thao (born in 1937) and his wife, Mrs. Tran Thi Nhung (born in 1940), were the first citizens to come to do marriage registration procedures. The U90 couple had to ask their son-in-law to take them to the new headquarters - the place to receive the ward's documents after merging many previous communes and wards.
"We have been married and registered for 60 years but the documents are missing, now we are working again to divide the assets between our children," said Mr. Thao. Although the procedure required further verification in the original locality, he was still happy and satisfied when he was warmly welcomed by the staff.
According to Ms. Dau Thi Bich Hoan - Center officer, in just the first morning, the unit received documents from 10 people, mainly regarding land, civil status, and certification. In addition to receiving directly, the center has arranged a table for online declaration instructions, supporting people to get acquainted with digital administration.
