On July 1, a representative of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training said that it is expected that on July 4, the Department will announce the exam scores for grade 10 in the 2025-2026 school year.
Currently, the marking process has been completed, the Department of Education and Training is handling the technical stages to announce the exam scores on July 4.
Previously, Hanoi also planned to announce the exam scores in the period of 4-6.7. At the same time, the Department will also announce the admission scores so that parents and students do not have to wait or worry.
Nearly 103,000 Hanoi students have completed the exam in three subjects: Math, Literature and Foreign Language (mainly English), taking the score for admission to the 10th grade of the non-professional public school, on June 7-8.
This is the first year of the exam according to the new general education program, so the content and structure of the exam have many changes.
After the 10th grade exam in Hanoi ends, based on the average score of each subject and coefficient, many teachers predict that the admission score for Hanoi 10th grade in 2025 may increase slightly compared to last year.
This year, Hanoi adjusted the admission score calculation method. Instead of multiplying the coefficient of 2 for Math and Literature as in previous years, the admission score will be the total score of 3 subjects (Math, Literature, Foreign Language), each subject is calculated on a scale of 10 and not multiplied by coefficient.
Regarding the principle of admission, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training stipulates the admission of candidates who wish to register for admission to the school, based on the admission scores from high to low until the quota is exhausted. Candidates who are admitted with the first wish will not be admitted with the following wishes. The winning score for the 2nd and 3rd wishes must be 1 and 2 points higher than the 1st wishes.
When lowering the benchmark, public high schools are allowed to admit students with 2nd and 3rd wishes who are eligible for admission.
Students who wish to be re-examined will submit an application for re-examination within the deadline from July 4-10. From July 10-12, admission students must confirm their admission (online or in person).
On July 17, schools that do not meet the quota will enroll additional students. On July 28, the contestants received the results of the re-examination. From July 28-30, schools will continue to process student records after the final round and admitted candidates (after the final round) confirm their admission.
