The fragile line between "playing" and "rebellion
According to information from Phu Tho Provincial Police, at about 9 pm on June 13, functional forces discovered and promptly prevented a group of 18 teenagers gathering, preparing weapons and means to fight, causing public disorder.
In just a short time, the entire group of subjects was clarified. What is shocking is the age of the children - from 14 to 18 years old, most of whom are students and are in the summer vacation period.
The motivation leading to deviant behavior stems from impulsive thinking, freely doing what they like during times when there is no longer a dense schedule or school supervision.
If the police agency had not detected and prevented them in time, it is unknown what the consequences would have been when the children gathered and prepared dangerous weapons, which could easily take other people's lives like that.
Without direct management from the school, if parents also relax management, children are very easily attracted by "network friends" and negative groups on social networks.
Even the children themselves have a subjective mentality that late-night gatherings on deserted roads will be difficult to detect. However, the incident in Phu Tho has proven the opposite.

In the digital age, the Police force has applied a security surveillance camera system integrated with artificial intelligence (AI) technology. This system operates 24/7 on all traffic routes and key areas.
In the above case, after only 30 minutes, the AI camera system accurately identified the faces of each participating subject, effectively serving the investigation work.
This means that all acts of wheeling, swerving, gathering with weapons are recorded in detail and undeniable. Children cannot escape, and parents cannot cover up.
The price to pay for a few hours of "self-expression" is very high, not only affecting their families but also directly affecting their future, studies and career opportunities later.
Parents cannot completely entrust the management of their children to society or schools.
Many parents often have a mentality of "compensating" for their children by letting them relax in the summer, letting them comfortably go out at night. This indulgence and lack of close attention inadvertently becomes a facilitator of deviant behaviors.
The responsibility first of all belongs to the family. Parents cannot completely entrust the management of children to society or schools, especially during the 3 months of summer vacation.
Functional forces of Phu Tho province said they will closely coordinate with the school, local authorities and families to clarify responsibilities and handle them strictly according to regulations. This is not only a punishment for the children, but also a reminder of responsibility to hit the subjective psychology of parents.

To make summer truly a useful and safe time for children, parents need to know clearly where their children go, do what, go with whom, especially at night. Parents should talk regularly to control their children's relationships outside of society and on social networks.
Along with that, instead of letting your child gather for leisure, direct your child to skills courses, sports clubs, volunteer activities or family picnics.
Children's summer vacation is only truly complete when there is companionship, correct guidance and serious supervision from parents. Don't let adults' negligence and subjectivity turn children's brilliant summer days into a series of belated days of regret behind bars or in the emergency room.
